Tommysaurus Rex, Creature Tech and Thank You For Smoking

Tommysaurus Rex by Doug TenNapel - this is a great, sweet graphic novel, with a dinosaur, a young boy visiting his grandpa, and a cameo by Ray Harryhausen. TenNapel has a great visual style and story-telling sensibility. I also really enjoyed and recommend his Creature Tech, a sf/horror yarn with great humor.
I liked Thank You For Smoking, though it is admittedly on the light side content-wise. That being said, it was refreshing to watch a satire skewering lobbyists and shills for industries that generally do more harm than good. It's worth renting.
